Ordinary solenoid valves are the basis of all solenoid valves, including proportional valves . Since the force value of the solenoid proportional valve is proportional to the current , for a certain current value (usually measured by the rated current), it can be regarded as an equivalent solenoid valve corresponding to its current.
The first step in designing a solenoid valve is to select the electromagnet;
This leaves us with two important parameters:
journey
There is another very important dimension closely related to the stroke: the distance from the push rod to the mounting surface when the electromagnet is energized.
☆This is a very important design benchmark and one of the key core dimensions of the electromagnet.
Electromagnetic force
The rated electromagnetic force is generally defined as the value obtained when the rated voltage is 80%-90% (usually 85%). As we all know, the temperature rise caused by power supply will cause the resistance of the electromagnet.
The increase in pressure may cause a decrease in force, resulting in unpredictable consequences.
Some people may say that the electromagnet came into being only when there was a travel and electromagnetic force requirement, not vice versa. In fact, I don’t think it’s necessary to dwell on this question of which came first, the chicken or the egg.
Secondly, the distribution of electromagnet stroke and tolerance calculation
Then, the distribution relationship between electromagnetic force, hydraulic force and spring force is usually based on the 1/3 principle.
That is, about 1/3 of the electromagnetic force is used to overcome the spring force; about 1/3 is used to overcome the fluid force, friction force, etc.; and the remaining 1/3 is used for redundancy and acceleration.
Of course, as a supplementary condition: it is also necessary to verify that reliable reset can be achieved and that the response to negative steps is guaranteed.
It is worth mentioning that solenoid valves generally have a power range problem due to their limited force value, so please pay attention to it.
