Siemens participated in the 15th Shanghai International Fire Protection and Security Technology and Equipment Exhibition (Shanghai International Fire Protection Exhibition) with the theme of “Smart Space, Safe Future”, and displayed a new generation of fire alarm system, fire detectors, emergency lighting and evacuation instructions in an all-round way systems, as well as innovative fire protection solutions applied in industries such as lithium batteries, electronic factories, petrochemicals and subways.

As a global expert in the field of fire safety, Siemens exhibited a new generation of FS18S2 fire alarm system, ASD+ aspirating smoke detector, emergency lighting and evacuation indication system at this exhibition.
Siemens FS18S2 fire alarm system supports a maximum of 200 controllers to be networked, a single controller supports a maximum of 20 loops and 4000 address code points, and can store 120,000 historical records. The system is stable and reliable, supports remote debugging, and the network host redundancy function and digital signature can effectively guarantee system security.
Siemens ASD+ aspirating smoke detector includes 2 detection chambers with independent addresses, which can provide a maximum protection area of 6700㎡. It adopts modular design and is deeply integrated in the on-site circuit of FC726 controller. No additional interface card or module is required, and it supports Bluetooth connection and debugging of mobile phones.
The Siemens fire emergency lighting and evacuation indication system can realize the networking of 32 controllers through Ethernet, CAN bus, and optical fiber to meet the needs of super-large projects. The single-circuit rated output power of its centralized power supply is as high as 216W, with high load capacity and long transmission distance. The lighting efficiency reaches 120lm/w, which is energy-saving and environmentally friendly, and can maintain a constant luminous flux output during use. The lamps can withstand 10V/m radiated electromagnetic field interference, and have obtained the inspection report issued by the national CMA certification laboratory to ensure that the system is more stable and reliable, and open a green channel for life.
At this exhibition, Siemens also focused on the application of innovative fire protection solutions in industries such as lithium batteries, electronic factories, petrochemicals and subways. For example, Siemens’ lithium battery energy storage system fire safety solution uses space particle detection and nitrogen fire extinguishing system based on red and blue light detection technology, which can realize very early detection of lithium battery fire and suppress thermal runaway. Siemens’ fire alarm solution for the electronics factory industry can meet the multi-scenario application requirements of electronics factories, and its 50V/M anti-electromagnetic interference capability can adapt to various complex electromagnetic environments, helping to reduce costs and increase efficiency throughout the product life cycle. Siemens petrochemical industry fire alarm solutions provide complete explosion-proof products to meet the special needs of the petrochemical industry. The circuit board of the external equipment is waxed, the smoke detector comes with IP44 protection, and the proprietary circuit debugger ensures worry-free debugging and maintenance. Siemens subway industry fire system solution has a high-quality fire alarm system certified by FM and VdS, up to 100 fire alarm controllers are connected to the network, and the length of the on-site detection bus is as long as 5 kilometers, which fully meets the requirements of the subway project for the fire alarm system .
